Checking out new blogs brought me to this delightful place! As soon as I read her post, Meet Carl Larsson My New Favorite Artist, I knew I'd found a kindred spirit.
I've been a fan for quite awhile- I have a collection of his pictures on my computer. I think one reason his work is beloved is because it illustrates the philosophy of life that he and his wife lived. It is very artful, yet warm and real. I love his use of white space and angles. He obviously had a great love for his family and the environment they created within Scandinavian culture. Maybe it is his ability to portray that love that makes us connect with him so well? I don't know, but with Kim, and others, I love and appreciate his beautiful pictures.
